About the project

SVGS entailed the design of a new Gas Sweetening plant for installation at the Sullom Voe Terminal on the Shetland Islands. The project underwent a number of iterations utilising different technologies, including an Amine Plant and a Metal Oxide Plant.

DCL seconded a consultant full time for 2 years as the SVGS RC Manager, directly responsible to the Project Director for the strategy, coordination and delivery of RC. The areas covered included Environmental Legislation, CE Marking, CDM, COMAH, Operations Legislation such as PUWER, LOLER, etc. and Health & Safety Legislation.
